Orba is a village located in the Costa Blanca, more precisely in the Marina Alta. It has about 2500 inhabitants and it is only 15 km from the coast, the hospital and the Sella Golf Resort & Spa.
Nowadays, its economy is varied, in the agricultural sector the almond and orange trees are its main crop, there is also a manufacture of handbags and a pottery workshop, although the tourism is the most important sector.
In addition it offers the following services: 24h medical centre, pharmacy, banks, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, bakeries, hairdressers, butcher shops, greengrocers, dentist, laundry, post office, music school, state school (junior and senior), crèche, school of alternative education, municipal pool, trinquete (the place where the sport “Pilota Valenciana” is played), sports centre, local police, town hall, multifunctional office, cultural centre, library, etc….

Parochial Church: it was built in the 19th century, but the external edifice was altered in 1917.
Wayside cross: this one replaced the old one in 1902. It was destroyed 34 years after but it was reconstructed.
The Castellet (a castle): it was built in the 11th century at the top of the town’s mountain. Nowadays it is a ruin of an old Arab castle.
Fuentes de arriba y abajo (washing places): the village has two fountains that were used as washing places. The “fuente de arriba” was built in 1925 and the “fuente de abajo” in 1904.
